The song “CAKE” (Creating A Known Event) is a deeply personal homage to a fan who played a pivotal role in my musical journey.
"Cake" draws inspiration from my real-life experience living in Festac Extension, Lagos. While the song incorporates fictional elements for creative license, it ultimately serves as a powerful tribute to a significant figure in my life.
This guy “Dave” was the one who shared with me beats that sparked my freestyle ability back when I was selling ice block at Mosalachi bus stop in Amuwo Odofin Local Government. He unknowingly played a crucial role in setting me on this musical path. The tragic loss of this guy has always weighed heavily on me, and 'Cake' is my way of honoring his memory and the impact he had on my career."
